ONE — ABP
ONE — ABP stands as Blundstone’s flagship store in London, situated in Kensington. The decision was made to repurpose the Blundstone UK headquarters space, dedicating a section to house the concept store.
The primary goal of ONE — ABP is to offer the Blundstone community an immersive brand experience, encouraging relaxation and exploration. Additionally, it functions as a versatile space accommodating various commercial activities, all while staying true to the brand’s values. Retaining the inviting atmosphere and conceptualization of our previous Blundstone Soho Pop-Up, ONE — ABP introduces a new and distinctive expression, allowing us to repurpose certain display elements for the new store.
The store’s interior design takes inspiration from the brand’s identity and its key tagline, “Everywhere life takes me,” aiming to seamlessly integrate elements of nature and urban life into the space. This design concept reflects the diverse environments where the products can be utilized.

Within the store, 48 geometric cubic elements crafted from birch plywood symbolize urban life, movement, and versatility through their varied heights and depths. Reinforcing the brand’s active message, installations featuring antique wood lasts and long grasses depict the act of walking.
To evoke a natural ambiance, a large-scale framed Blundstone lifestyle image takes center stage. This image incorporates real rocks and moss, seamlessly transitioning from a two-dimensional representation to a textured three-dimensional experience. The use of monotonal earthy colors and textures enhances the overall feeling of a comforting, nature-inspired lifestyle.
In terms of design materiality, we embraced a minimalist approach, utilizing birch plywood, natural stones, and greenery as the primary elements for the interior. This reduction in materiality not only promotes a clean and cohesive aesthetic but also aligns with sustainable design principles.

















The integration of a production wall within the display serves a pivotal role in elevating brand awareness. This wall serves as a canvas, showcasing the various production phases, patterns, materials, and distinctive sole units employed in crafting Blundstone products. By highlighting these elements, the production wall not only brings clarity but also aids in distinguishing between different Blundstone series.
Inside the store, a dedicated multi-brand area is established, characterized by a unique aesthetic that echoes the ambiance of a living room. Framed by a cubic structure with defined edges, this space visually sets itself apart from the rest of the store. The intention is to gradually introduce a diverse range of products and brands into this area over time, fostering a dynamic and ever-evolving shopping experience.
The interior design philosophy revolves around simplicity and minimalism, with a key focus on maximizing the adaptability of the space in a sustainable manner.
